  • I like the subject. The building on the left also catches the eye and then takes it to the landscape.
    The composition is also cool.
I just have a bit of trouble understanding the reason of having out of focus flowers (is it dandelion with grass?).
How about a long exposure on the manfrotto with a high f-number with everything in focus?

  • Yes it's a dandelion. I have a photo with everything in focus and this one. I think I should have shot one in-between, maybe around F8, to make the foreground a little bit sharper without being too catchy for the eye. I find that the dandelion is a bit too flashy in that composition. So you're totally right : a higher f-number would have been better. I'm not too sure about having everything in focus though.

  • Great landscape. I love the composition, with the blured foreground giving depth to the image.

  • yeah right... could be distracting if it was totally in focus.
    thanks.

  • I'm not saying it shouldn't be done ;) This shot isn't what I wanted. I think I wouldn't like a dandelion in focus either.

  • Une très belle composition.
Les proportions du flou de l'avant plan sont poussées à l'extrême.
    Et c'est bein vu...
